Tiger Iron cabochon, 41 X 18.5mm freeform

This stone is 6mm thick and an approximate weight of 53cts. A nice shiny polish on front and sides and flat and smooth on the back.

Tiger Iron is a Sedimentary metamorphic rock with multicolored quartz layers composed of the stone "tiger's eye", jasper, and black hematite (looks dark silver when polished). This stone came from the Australia deposit and is mostly red jasper & hematite with thin fiery bands of golden tiger's eye running through it.
