Chrysocolla cabochon, 44 X 15.5mm oval

This stone is 4.5mm thick and an approximate weight of 21cts. A nice smi-gloss polish on front, sides, and back.

Please take note of the small natural cavity near the left end of the stone as shown in the photo.


Chrysocolla is a beautiful blue mineral found wherever copper deposits occur. The rough for this stone came from Peru and ranges in color from a bright robins egg blue to a soft pastel. Although it is a common processes with this and many other materials I think it important to state that this stone has been stabilized.
