Chrysocolla cabochon, 33.5X26.5mm lazy heart

This stone is 5.5mm thick and an approximate weight of 28cts. A nice semi-gloss polish on front, sides, and back.

Chrysocolla is a beautiful blue mineral found wherever copper deposits occur. The rough for this stone came from Peru and ranges in color from a bright robins egg blue to both lighter and darker shades, with silvery/black, green, and yellow mixed in. Although it is a common processes with this and many other materials I think it important to state that this stone has been stabilized.
